One KX

One KX is a key part of Central YMCA; one of the largest charities in the local area and also the world’s founding YMCA, established in 1844. One KX was reopened in 2007 , with financial support secured as part of a successful fundraising campaign and also the passion of the local community and a dedicated staff and volunteer team. We are proud that this commitment has seen the centre become a valued part of the vibrant King’s Cross community. Room Hire We have several rooms available to hire ranging from cosy meeting rooms, sprung floor dance rehearsal spaces, training rooms, studio theatre spaces and modern presentation rooms. Ideal for business meetings, workshops, conferences, castings and rehearsal. Opening Hours We are available to hire between 8am-8pm, seven days a week. Prices Prices start at £15 per hour for our smallest meeting room. Discounts are available if you book for four or eight hours or for an entire week. We do not charge VAT – what you see is what you pay. Please contact us for a quote. Discounts We are happy to offer discounts for charities or local organisations that deliver free services for the benefit of the Kings Cross and Camden Community. We will require proof such as your charity registration number. Please bear in mind that we are a charity ourselves and we rely on business bookings to pay full price in order for us to continue our charitable work and to offer discounts to other charities. Equipment and Room Sizes Please check with us for individual sizes and equipment. We can provide flipcharts, flipchart paper and markers. We also have wifi and use of projector. We also have an in-house cafe, which will be able to provide catering and refreshments.
