We have a variety of local groups & classes, eg:- Pilates, Sequence Dance, Indoor Bowls, W.I., Wives, Keep Fit (can be seated for the elderly), Brownies, Rainbows, Badminton, Irish Dancing, Karate, U3A (Science), U3A (Crafts), youth club, etc; also the Hall is available for Weddings, Parties, Christenings, music events, company meetings, etc. On many weekends through the year, there is a kiddies birthday party, often with a bouncy castle.
We also host a number of dog shows, also some dog club committee meetings as we are centrally placed in the UK, and there is a monthly Antiques Fair. For several years there has also been a Hamster show (+ assorted other rodents!).
. There is a Main Hall (with Stage), Small Hall and a Lounge Bar (which is only open for special events). . Kitchen use is included in hire costs, and the kitchen is spacious (by village hall standards). We also now have free Wi-Fi, and a decent size car-park (49 spaces).
Availability and Hire Costs
Availability: The Halls are generally available at weekends for 'ad-hoc' events, other weekdays and evenings are largely taken up with our regular groups & classes, but there are a few slots available. If you are thinking of a new group, or a special event, please ask!
Hire Costs: There is a sliding scale for local groups, and hire rates depend on the day, duration and time. Again, please do ask! As a quick guide, a Saturday evening rate (parties etc) is £180, we do a very popular rate for a weekend child's party, 4 hours = £68, and a wedding reception will be somewhere between £300 and £400, depending on exactly what is required and timings. If you require a bar service, we now have a bar mgr, and there is no extra charge.

I am looking for a venue to hold a 30th Birthday Party on the 3rd or 4th January 2013. There will be approximately 60 people some of which will be young children.
