- Unfriendly staff, bordering on illegal behaviour - going through bags that had already been searched by the bouncer at the entrance to the venue - Confiscating personal property, even perfume as they believed it may have alcohol in it - Threw out two guests as they thought they were "gay" and told them this was not "acceptable," both utterly homophobic and also completely wrong. - Clubhouse manager attempting to come into female bathroom - Refusing guests access to personal property, and going through personal property without permission. This led to large quantities of valuables and money going missing. - Awful atmosphere, and somewhat intimidated by staff members. - Incompetent bouncers who were unable to read names off a list, leading to many guests being refused entry in spite of being invited. We were forced to pay £250 for these bouncers and I struggle to see what they did. - If this venue do not want what is expected of an 18th then they should not hire it out for such an event.
