Conygre Hall - Timsbury

This attractive hall, built in 1973, has been designed to offer an ideal venue for dinners, dances, weddings, concerts and parties at very reasonable charges. The hall is easily accessed by wheelchair users and has suitable toilet facilities. The number of people that can be accommodated in the various rooms depends much on the type of function and hirer�s requirements. The seating capacity in the main hall for concerts is 300. For dinners and dances the recommended number is 200. The Grove room will seat 60 and the Tyning 40 but for weddings or parties a comfortable number is 50 and 30 respectively. The stage which can be hired by Professional and Amateur groups, provided they do not conflict with local activities, offers an open acting area of 14 foot by 21 foot and adequate changing facilities.
