Refurbished community building in beautiful; welsh border countryside with road and rail access to nearby Herefordshire and Shropshire
Knighton Community Centre is THE HUB for so many community activities as well as being a great venue for parties, weddings, live music, stage productions, exhibitions, meetings and more.
Our main hall can hold 500 and has a large stage suitable for drama productions and top class live music shows. A moveable wall allows the rear third of the hall to be separated to make a separate bar and function room. Adjoining the main hall are a smaller hall suitable for events involving up to 50 people, the town's library, a casual seating area, kitchen and our "dressing room", which doubles as a classroom and small meeting room. All, except for the library of course, are available for hire separately if desired and at very competitive prices.

There is 1 review of Knighton and District Community Centre.
The event went well, and the size and spaciousness of the room was really helpful. The availability of parking was a plus, and some of the participants were close enough to be able to walk to the workshop. The availability of glasses and water was good, and overall the space was what we wanted. The only negative which was noted both by us and reflected in a couple of the evaluation forms, was the difficulty in keeping the room warm. The workshop was fairly static, and the one fan heater that we were advised to use was noisy and slightly disruptive. As advised by the cleaner who opened the centre for us, we turned the heater off after 3/4 an hour. The noise was better, but the room became chilly. This would make us hesitate booking the room again during the winter period, unless there were better heating options
