We hired this venue for an afternoon tea retirement celebration. The Hall is a great space with good parking and a lovely view. There are plenty of chairs and tables so that you can be flexible with layout etc. It was very clean and tidy and warm; the kitchen was extremeley well equipped. Elizabeth, the booking clerk was really helpful and flexible about picking up the keys. I would not hesitate to recommend this venue.
Reid Hall is for us an Excellent venue, This is the first time we have booked it we found it very clean and tidy. The Elizabeth has always been very friendly, helpful and punctual. We have booked this venue for another seven of our Smooth Sunday Evenets and a Dance in June 2014 it is perfect venue for our Modern Jive Dance events We will continue to use this hall for the foreseeable future.
Although the hall itself is wonderful, spacious, light, spotlessly clean with a superb professional type kitchen....the best thing about the Reid Hall is the booking Clerk, Elizabeth. She is one of the most helpful, warm, friendly people I have ever met and she was so very helpful with our booking and and we have since made another booking for this May 2013. Please be assured if you are thinking of making a booking here, that you will be delighted with the facilities and information and help from Elizabeth. If we ever have an event that needs a village hall, we will be booking the Reid Hall :-) ....ps: If anyone of you live in the local area of this village hall, please have a look at the events that are held here...its all good fun
We have used the hall in many occasions, we think it is a fantastic local facility. The booking clerk is efficient and so helpful. The hall is spotlessly clean and the facilities are brilliant. The kitchen (brand new, stainless steel) is like a professional kitchen. We have used the hall for children's parties, large family celebrations and charity fundraising events-it is brilliant for all sorts of functions and at very reasonable rates. Please don't overlook this venue for your occasion-you will regret it!
Reid Hall is in my opinion an Excellent venue, I have used the hall on many occasions and always find it clean and tidy. The booking lady is always very friendly, helpful and punctual. I would always recommend Reid Hall to friends and family as it is perfect for all occasions. I will continue to use this hall for the foreseeable future.

Excellent venue, and the team are very helpful and flexible. We have used the hall many times and always received a great service. Answer machine messages have been promptly answered and queries solved. We recently had to chop and change our booking for our reasons, all of which was arranged with no fuss or bother. Facilities are great, the hall is in good condition, Car park huge and The site manager is a delight. We plan to continue to use this hall for the foreseeable future. Try it you will like it... Very Poor service. The bookings clerk forgot we have even booked the venue and we had to call her up to open up the hall resulting in a delay. Also I would recommend that others should not (not) book this hall as the Committee will find all sort of ways to keep your deposit. Make sure you have photos of everything before you leave. I would seriously recommend that you should not book this hall and go somewhere else. It is not worth the hassle.
A lovely clean well appointed and secluded venue The best for miles around Parking convenient, facilities are tidy and clean, heating is great, accommodation superb Recommendable
A delightful, spacious venue for teaching Yoga in, with the added dimension of ocassionally using the outside area in fine weather. It is always very clean and well looked after and managed with friendly care and flexibility. We enjoy the atmosphere of it's location, out of the village, also providing accessable & ample parking space.
As a couple who like to work with the Community and extend our facilities at an affordable price to let our dancers/friends enjoy themselves - we have the best hall in this and many surrounding areas. Clean, facilities first class, a beautiful sprung dance floor -bookings dealt with efficiently and the complete 'picture' is run and organised by the local people with pride in what they have in their village. Well done to you all - we wouldn't dream of hiring anywhere else.
Reid Hall is a delightful venue for a wide variety of events and purposes. We decided to have our event there after searching for some considerable time. The person who deals with the bookings was warm, friendly and very helpful. Our needs were quite specific as we were inviting a large number of people with disabilities and wanted our event to be welcoming and accessible, without posing any unnecessary difficulties. The space proved flexible enough for us to achieve everything we wanted. We also made good use of the kitchen to provide a fabulous lunch. The caterers gave the kitchen a 5 star rating, particularly with the dish washer in mind! Finally, even though it rained on our event, the location of the hall is beautiful with views across the Weald that put you in a very good place to begin.
