We have two rooms available to hire:
A Council Chamber which is carpeted, seats 18/20 around a long table or 34 seated in rows. It can be emptied of furniture and used for exercise classes (we have a yoga class of 8/10 that does this). The rooms decor is more sombre but the blinds can lighten or darken the room.
An oblong Meeting Space next to an oblong hallway, toilets and kitchen. Again this seats 30 in rows or 24 comfortably around square tables. Plus standing room depending on usage. It would suits a child's party. Once laminated (pending) it would suit a babies/child lower grade levels dance class. The decor is bright and the light is good in this room.
The Meeting room is being developed to enable smaller attended wedding ceremonies/service but would not be suitable for the party. We can provide a backdrop of voille, flower stands, etc.
Availability and Hire Costs
Availability: We are open Monday to Friday 8am-9pm and by arrangement for the weekend.
Hire Costs: £12 per hour for either room to community or charity groups at any time £15 per hour for statutory groups or private groups After 6pm we charge an additional £5 per hour Weekends are based on the same charges with an out of hours add on of £40 for a full day, on a sliding scale depending on the hours required. We expect the room to be returned as it was found. A rechargeable hoover is available for group use. Hire agreements will be provided at the point of an enquiry. They are though on our website and availability is uploaded to our website too. We are currently looking to acquire a wedding licence for the venue as an additional option.
